The goal of AmGifts is to promote the act of gift giving to children residing in pediatric hospitals, usually due to suffering from chronic illnesses. All children deserve a gift this holiday season, especially those who are living through a stressful and often traumatic situation. Without donations, hospitals are unable to purchase all of the gifts requested by the many children they care for. 

Donations go directly to providing toys for children in pediatric care, with the goal of improving their stay at the hospital and lessening the trauma inflicted by the illness they suffer. Research has shown that long term hospitalization at a young age, along with high hospital costs, can have a significant effect on the child's mental health.

People are unaware of the ease in which they can help a child this holiday, simply by using their Amazon account to purchase a gift listed on an Amazon Wishlist curated by the hospital itself. We ask that while purchasing gifts online this holiday season as many of us will do, please take a moment to purchase a gift off of one of the hospitals’ Wishlist.

How to donate - just use Amazon!

Donating to a pediatric hospital this holiday is as easy as purchasing any item you would for your family or yourself on Amazon.com. AmGifts is simply meant to organize and guide you to the Amazon Wishlist's hosted on various hospital webpages. 

Gifts range anywhere from $10-$50 toys, but also include more expensive sets that will remain permanent in the hospital.

After adding an item to your cart, proceed to checkout and the pediatric hospital will now be available in your shipping address list. Select the hospital, and click Place your order.

By purchasing through Amazon, your gift will be sent directly to the hospital. This allows for all the joy of gift giving to children in need without carrying any heavy packages. Moreover, your gift can be considered a charitable contribution for tax purposes. Many hospitals include instructions on how to obtain a tax deduction in their Wishlist description.
